Career Opportunity at MCA Sports Law LLP: Football Lawyer (Full-time)

MCA Sports Law is actively seeking a full-time, highly-skilled, Football Lawyer to join our firm. The candidate needs to possess 3-5 years of expertise in international football disputes, including proceedings before FIFA and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), and adequate exposure to international football players’ transfers.

Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrate exceptional proficiency in handling dispute cases before FIFA and the CAS, without supervision.
Draft player transfer agreements and employment contracts, draft/review representation and commission agreements, and provide counsel to clients on complex transfer-related matters.

Ability to work on urgent matters and deliver high-quality services to our clients in a timely way.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of proven experience in football law, with a focus on football disputes (mainly FIFA and the CAS) and player transfers.
Robust background in international sports arbitration and a sports law degree are advantageous.

Comprehensive knowledge of FIFA regulations is a must, and familiarity with Swiss law is considered an asset.

Excellent command of English language is imperative and proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is an asset.
